La Dama

Inspired by the geometry of Quito's checkerboard, La Dama merges floor plan and facade in an abstract textile language. Its design transforms the urban fabric into a hand-woven composition, highlighting the city's spatial organization with the colors of its flag.

Part of the Quito Fragmented collection, this rug is created by master artisans from Guano, who keep the tradition of hand-knotting alive. With a density of 42,000 knots per square meter and 100% natural fibers, La Dama represents the union of architecture, design, and textile art.
